Welcome to The Horologist's Corner, where time takes center stage. My fascination with horology began in the early 90's, during a memorable trip to the local courthouse that my mother's boyfriend worked at. Although closed for the day, he took me up to the clocktower, unveiling the mesmerizing world of clock movements and the grandeur of the bells that were housed in the belfry. In that dimly lit tower, my heart ticked in sync with the vintage gears; I was utterly hooked. The journey truly began with my very first love -  a TIMEX IRONMAN INDIGLO, a gift from my mother. Though that cherished piece has wandered away, my passion for timepieces has only grown stronger. From collecting intricate sundials and incense clocks to delving into the mechanics of exquisite watches, every aspect of horology captivates me. Recently, I have crossed paths with an independent watchmaker, an encounter that reignited my passion, inspiring me to chronicle my horological adventures. Thus, The Horologist's Corner was born. This blog is a haven where I share my insights, stories, and the ticking wonders that I discover along the way, hoping to connect with fellow enthusiast and ignite a spark of curiosity in those just beginning their journey.
